Paulette and Ed chose the gorgeous Wequassett Resort in Harwich, MA for their intimate wedding. It was a second wedding for both and they wanted only their closest friends and family to be present.
We were asked to play for the prelude, ceremony, cocktail hour and luncheon. Cocktail hour was mostly contemporary popular songs. Since they didn’t want dancing, we played lots of old jazz standards during the meal.
I’ve been writing a lot of new arrangements this season so we had many from which to choose. We even took requests. The ceremony music was more traditional with “To A Wild Rose” and “Canon in D” for processionals and “Wedding March” for the recessional.
The Wequassett is one of our favorite venues and we especially enjoyed working with super organized Rene Votteler.
