Mindy and Bob’s traditional Jewish wedding was anything by typical when it came to music choices. “Can’t Help Falling In Love” was a favorite of the couple which we played during the prelude (while guests were being seated. The Hawaiian version of “Over The Rainbow” was the bride’s processional and “When I Fall In Love’ was played during the candle lighting. We also had the pleasure of accompanying friends Tamara and Steve, singing “The Book Of Love”, a Peter Gabriel song. They were terrific.... Full Story

We had such a good time playing for Carrie and Wayne’s lovely Gibbet Hill wedding. Most weddings are held on the lawn between the Barn and the Grill. You can often see cows grazing on the opposite hill (and hear them mooing.) It gives a rustic feel to the ceremony.... Full Story

Martha and Carl chose the hillside at Nashoba Winery as the setting for their ceremony. They love classical music and wanted as much as possible for the prelude, ceremony and cocktail hour. Our violin/cello duo repertoire is extensive so everyone was happy.... Full Story

We never get tired of playing at the Wequassett Resort on Cape Cod. Pleasant Bay is the jaw-dropping backdrop to ceremonies on the lawn. It’s awesome, even when it’s raining, which it what was doing the day Cindy and Charley were wed. Everything was moved to the terrace overlooking the water so we still had a beautiful view.... Wintergarden is a large, open, atrium space for weddings just across the street from the Seaport Hotel. The area is very bright, even on overcast days. Many couples choose this venue for their ceremony and then go to the hotel for the reception.... Full Story

Chuan and Rob planned their wedding at Habitat in Belmont from their home in China. I’m used to working with many couples who don’t live in the Boston area, so I knew this wouldn’t be too challenging to coordinate. In fact, working with clients living halfway around the world and planning everything via email actually turns out to be an advantage as the twelve hour time difference means next-day email responses arrive in 12 hours instead of 24....
