Marblehead’s Chandler Hovey Park, overlooking the ocean, is a perfect location for wedding ceremonies.
It’s public so there may be other people around the area, enjoying the breezes and view, but they are usually some distance away. It’s close to the Corinthian Yacht Club, which most couples use as their reception site.
The processional for the bridal party was “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring. Brigid chose “Canon in D” for her entrance. We played “Ave Marie by Shubert during the Unity Sand Ceremony (a good alternative to candle-lighting when outdoors.)
“Ode to Joy” and “La Rejouissance” were the recessionals.
