Natalie and David chose the lovely Marriott Hotel in Burlington, MA for their January wedding. We always feel comfortable playing there. The ceremony took place in the Salon Room. Natalie had nine bridesmaids, 1 ring bearer and 2 flower girls so she decided to have two processionals. Colleen McLaughlin is the event coordinator and runs a ‘tight ship’. Everything was on time and went smoothly.
The bridal party entered to Bach “Air” and the bride to Pachelbel Canon in D. The recessional was La Rejouissance by Handel. It’s an upbeat piece and a great way to end the ceremony. We moved to the foyer just outside the Salon Room for cocktail hour. Both Natalie and David love classical music and wanted to continue with that style during cocktails. They were having a band play after we finished and felt that there would be plenty of jazz and popular music at that time. Our violin/cello duo had a great time choosing favorite classical pieces to play.
