Tupper Manor in Beverly has a lovely lawn with a beautiful fountain as backdrop for wedding ceremonies. And that’s where Claire and Alex planned to get married. Unfortunately the weather gods had other plans; rain meant that their wedding had to be moved indoors.
Fortunately, it’s also lovely inside Tupper Manor so any disappointment was quickly dissipated by a beautiful interior as well as the opportunity for everyone in the wedding to stay warm and dry. Alex is in the military so several of the groomsmen joined him wearing uniforms. Wow!!
The processionals were Bach Air for grandparents and parents, Canon in D for seven bridesmaids escorted by seven groomsmen and La Vie En Rose for Claire and her dad.
We also played Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing after the reciting of The Lord’s Prayer. Our string quartet ended with Ode to Joy as the recessional. Cocktail hour was a mix of light classical music and old jazz standards.
