Early May Wedding at Lynn Woods

Melissa and Forrest chose the garden at Lynn Woods for their wedding ceremony. Although the flowers were not yet in bloom, the wooded setting was a lovely backdrop for a very happy celebration.

This was all about family, with Melissa’s stepfather officiating. (We had played for his wedding to Melissa’s mom several years ago – a second wedding for the bride and groom – with all their adult children as groomsmen and bridesmaids.)

I played solo cello for Melissa and Forrest. Prelude music included such favorites as “Prelude from Unaccompanied Suite for Cello, No. 1” and “Air” by Bach as well as Handel’s “Air”. The processionals were “Trumpet Voluntary” by Clarke and “Canon in D” by Pachelbel. Handel Bourree was played during the planting of a rosebush ceremony. Allegro from “Spring”. “The Four Seasons” was the recessional.

The reception was held at Finz Restaurant in Salem, MA.
