Adam and Erin chose the historic Glen Manor House in Portsmouth, Rhode Island for their October wedding. It was warm enough to have the ceremony on the lawn overlooking the ocean. What a spectacular view! Cocktail hour was held on the side porch and patio. Dinner tables were set up under a tent alongside the house.
Good friend Liz sang “The Way You Look Tonight” during the ceremony as a special gift. We often accompany singers and were able to rehearse with Liz before the prelude music began. She was especially nice to work with and had a wonderful voice, too!
“Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” was the processional for the bridal party. “Canon in D” was played for the bride’s entrance and “La Rejouissance” was the recessional. Cocktail hour included old jazz standards and popular songs. Adam and Erin pretty much left the choice up to us so we threw in some Coldplay, U2 and Beatles.
Good luck with your wedding plans.
