Hillary and Dan selected Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge as their wedding venue. It was a good choice since there’s a nice park for ceremonies right across the street.
We lucked out on the weather since a storm was due. The rain held off long enough for Hillary to make her way slowly down the aisle. (She broke her ankle a week before the wedding!)
Rabbi Meszler was the officiant for this lovely wedding. It was great working with Edna Dratch-Parker of EFD Creative, too.
The prelude consisted of a variety of classical and Jewish music. The couple requested that we play “What a Wonderful World” just before the processionals began. The bridal party entered to “Canon in D”. Hillary chose “Bridal Chorus” (Here Comes the Bride). The recessional was “You Are the Sunshine of My Life”. We moved into the hotel for cocktail hour and played mostly popular songs including “God Only Knows”, “I’m Yours, and “When I’m Sixty-four”.
