Boston’s beautiful Copley Westin Hotel was the setting for Leah and Oran’s wedding. Rabbi Terri Bard officiated at the traditional Jewish ceremony.
We played “Stairway to Heaven” as the bridal party began to enter. Three grandmothers were escorted down the aisle, followed by four bridesmaids and four groomsmen. Next came Oran’s parents, who walked halfway down the aisle, waited for his entrance, and then escorted him the rest of the way to the altar.
Leah, escorted by her parents, entered to “Canon in D”. The movie theme “Up” was the recessional. What a fun way the end! Cocktail hour was mostly old jazz standards with a few contemporary popular songs, too. Our flute, violin and cello trio had a great time playing at this lovely wedding.
