Our violin, viola and cello trio had a great experience working with singer Marie Chabot at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Bridgewater, MA. The bridal couple chose to have a full mass in addition to their ceremony.
Since the bridal party was large, we played three processionals. The first was “Ave Maria” with singer and strings for the grandparents, groom’s parents and mother of the bride. The second was “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” for five bridesmaids and two flower girls. Lisa Marie walked down the aisle to “Minuet” from The Royal Fireworks.
“How Beautiful” was played for Presentation of Gifts, “Taste And See” for communion. Both songs were accompanied by the string trio. The organist and singer performed the rest of the music during the mass. Our string trio can play all of the music if a couple prefers not to have organ.
“Trumpet Voluntary” was the recessional, followed by “La Rejouissance” while guests exited the church.
The reception was held at The Brookside in Bourne. We provided cocktail hour music which was a mix of classical and old jazz standards.
