Our string duo and trumpet have played there several times and we’ve always enjoyed the beautiful grounds. The ceremony was held outside with Reverend LisaAnn Donegan officiating. I love working with LisaAnn because she provides a print-out of the order-of-the-service. This helps us know exactly when to play for candle lightings and recessionals. I wish more officiants would do this.
Melissa and Jamie asked for traditional processionals and recessionals (Trumpet Voluntary, Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring and Allegro from “Spring” of the Four Seasons by Vivaldi.) “Spring” created a very upbeat ending to the ceremony. The cocktail hour, played by the violin and cello, included light classical selections, some old jazz standards, and Joplin Rags.
