Our violin, viola and cello trio had a great time playing in beautiful St. Anthony’s Catholic church in Cohasset, Massachusetts.
Mary Rooney, the church wedding coordinator, was great to work with. Her cue to play the first processional was very clear, something that’s so important if bridal party entrances are to go smoothly. Be sure to find someone to do this job if your church doesn’t have a coordinator.
We played classical music during the prelude. Processionals were “Canon in D” for the two mothers’ entrances. “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” was played for the bridal party. Mollie chose “Trumpet Voluntary” for her walk down the aisle. Bach “Arioso” was played during the unity candle lighting. The recessional was “La Rejouissance”. We continued to play classical selections until everyone exited the church.
