If you want a venue that feels intimate and historical, look no further than the Omni Parker House. It has a wonderful “old Boston” look. We had the pleasure of working with wedding planner Mitchell Phillips and hotel coordinator Jennifer Nicholson. Elly Jackson officiated at the 6:00 PM ceremony.
Brooke and Ray chose the second movement from Vivaldi’s guitar concerto (yes, it can be played beautifully by strings) for the bridal party processional. Brooke walked down the aisle to Largo from “Winter”, from the Four Seasons. The first movement from Brandenburg Concerto #3 was the recessional.
Everyone moved upstairs to the rooftop Wheatly Terrace for cocktail hour. This was a very nice set up because guests were able to go outside to the balcony and enjoy the city lights. We played a mix of classical, old jazz standards, popular songs and tangos.
Good luck with your wedding plans
