Perfect July Wedding Day

While there haven’t been many “good weather” days so far this summer, Ingrid and Simon scored a perfect day for their wedding at the Wequassett Inn.

Their ceremony was held on the lawn beside Pleasant Bay and the view is amazing. It’s a spectacular setting for pictures, too.

Simon’s from the UK and had only two weeks while visiting his future in-laws in Boston to do his part of the planning, which included the wedding music. We were able to work out all of the music selections and other ceremony details in one phone conversation. (Love that English accent!)

Ingrid and Simon chose a string trio(two violins and cello.)If you can’t have a string quartet, then this particular trio combination works well for all musical styles including classical, old jazz standards, Broadway, and popular. Throw in some tangos, rags and waltzes and you’ve got some great cocktail-hour music.

Happy string trio planning.
