Our violin, viola, cello and trumpet quartet had the pleasure of playing for Rhusha and Michael’s July ceremony.
We don’t get to play with trumpet as often as we’d like so I was very pleased when the couple chose to include trumpeter Randy O’Keefe in the ensemble.
The processionals were “Romanza” from Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Bach’s “Air” and “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring”. “Arioso” was played during the unity candle lighting. A rousing and joyful rendition of “La Rejouissance” was the recessional at the end of the ceremony. We continued to play Bach’s “Gigue” as the guests left the church.
