Arlington, Massachusetts has a gem of a venue hidden behind the library on Mass. Ave. The Wittemore-Robbins House is owned by the town and hosts many weddings. It has a garden with reflecting pool nearby for outdoor ceremonies. The front yard is enclosed with tall hedges and works well for cocktail hour. An added plus is the free parking adjacent to the house and library.
The very able Vicki Rose, function coordinator for the house (781-316-3260), is great to work with. I know that Aimee, our bride, felt comfortable with her.
Ben and Aimee chose “Canon in D” and “Bridal Chorus” for the processionals. We played “La Rejouissance” for the recessional and all classical music for cocktail hour.
