Jessica and John chose the very regal Searles Castle in Windham, New Hampshire as their wedding venue.
The grounds were spectacular on this beautiful, sunny July day.
Jessica’s grandmother, Liz, was in charge of the music and she took the responsibility seriously. I enjoyed working out all of the details over a period of several months before the wedding.
We decided on three processionals, one for the parents, one for the bridesmaids and one for the bride. They were Largo from Winter, The Four Seasons, Canon in D and Schubert’s Ave Maria. Westminster Hymn was played during a memorial moment to remember loved ones who couldn’t attend. Allegro from Spring, The Four Seasons was the recessional. We moved inside the castle to play a mix of waltzes, old jazz standards and tangos for cocktail hour.
