St. Stephen’s was the site of Beth and Steve’s wedding in Watertown, MA.
Although all music during the ceremony is provided by the church organist and a cantor, we played the entire 30-minute prelude, processionals and recessionals, plus postlude while the guests exited the church.
Beth’s parents had Adoration by Borowski played at their wedding and Beth wanted the same for hers. It’s a beautiful piece. I knew that neither Beth nor her mother would hear it unless it was played as the last prelude piece just before the processionals when they’d be lined up and waiting to go down the aisle. It worked perfectly. Everyone heard it and we enjoyed the chance to play it. It’s always fun to play something new so don’t be afraid to ask your musicians to play your special piece.
