Karen and Todd were married at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston’s Back Bay last Saturday.
The guest list was small (35 guests) so the Copley Room was the perfect setting for the ceremony. The cocktail hour was held next door in the Singleton Room.
These rooms are just the right size for a string duo. Everyone could hear us and there were even a few requests from the guests.
Karen, escorted by her father, chose Bridal Chorus for her entrance. This piece has become very popular with brides over the past year. The recessional was Allegro from “Spring”, the first movement of “The Four Seasons” by Vivaldi. It’s a great choice for exiting music because it’s so upbeat and “happy”.
Amanda Dunker, the Copley Plaza’s event planner for smaller weddings, was very helpful with seating and cues. Justice of the Peace Michelle Lydon officiated at this lovely and intimate ceremony.
