Early June can be iffy for weather but Liz and Rob got lucky with a perfect day. Danversport Yacht Club has a gazebo next to the water that serves as a lovely backdrop to ceremonies. It’s surrounded by flower beds and hanging baskets (so pretty!).
We had fun working with their friend and “day-of” officiant, Andy. He did a great job even though he was a little nervous. Liz and Rob chose Handel “Air” for the bridal party entrance and “Canon in D” for Liz’s walk down the aisle. Rob’s daughter was the flower girl. “Trumpet Voluntary” was the recessional.
Cocktail hour was held on the patio next to the banquet room. We played mostly old jazz standards and Broadway tunes.
