Our trio — two violins & cello — played at Christina’s in Foxboro on April 30th. Erin and Brad had planned an outdoor ceremony but the weather was a little too cold and cloudy. They moved inside to a lovely room with dimmed lighting. Coordinator Liz Amaral (firstname.lastname@example.org) arranged to have votive candles the entire length of the walls on both sides of the room. It created an intimate feel for a large room.
The processionals were “Canon in D” for the bridal party and “Kissing You” from the movie “Romeo and Juliet” for Erin’s entrance. Aunt Maureen sang “The Irish Wedding Song” during the ceremony. We often accompany singers who are family members or friends of the bridal couple. We rehearse with them before the prelude music begins so it doesn’t cost any extra $$. “All You Need Is Love” was the recessional.
We played When “You’re Sixty-Four” as the guests exited. Some folks danced their way out to the lobby! It was definitely a fun way to end the ceremony.
