Beth and Matt chose to have their ceremony at this church and I could understand why. It’s a lovely modern structure with plenty of room for the musicians to be near the altar.
In past blogs, I’ve talked about the importance of having someone coordinate entrances of the bridal party down the aisle. St. Anthony’s has a “church lady” designated to coordinate weddings, so everything went very smoothly. It was nice to have someone familiar with the flow of weddings to give us cues.
The processional included “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” and “Canon in D”. The recessional was “Alla Hornpipe”. We joined with organist Kathleen Keyes to play several pieces before, during and after the mass. We had a great time meeting and working with Kathleen.
Good luck with your wedding plans.
