Jill and Alyssa chose the Lyceum Bar and Grill in Salem for their November wedding.
Functions are upstairs in a pair of lovely wood-beamed spaces. One room has a bar and the other is set up for the ceremony and dinner.
Jill and Alyssa are from Atlanta so planning was done long distance (not a problem for me.) It’s amazing how much you can get done via phone and email. They loved the song “Yellow” by Coldplay so I wrote an arrangement for two violins and cello. It can be played by a string quartet, too. The recessional was “Say” by John Mayer. Everybody loved the music selections. Jazz and contemporary popular music was played during cocktail hour. The trio had a lot of fun with this music.
Do you have special songs that are meaningful to you and you fiancé? Don’t be shy about asking your musicians to play them.
Happy string trio planning
