Hannah and Robert had their wedding at the Omni Parker Hotel in Boston.
It’s a lovely old hotel that’s been renovated in recent years and has a cozy and intimate feel. The ceremony was in the Alcott Room and then we moved for cocktail hour to the top floor with access to an outdoor balcony. It had snowed the day before the wedding (April weather is SO unpredectable) so the temperature was a little on the cool side. Nonetheless, a few hardy folks went outside to view the city lights.
Handel “Air” and “Canon in D” were the processionals. If you read this blog on a regular basis, you’ve probably noticed that Canon is the all-time favorite bride’s processional. Even though we play it a lot, we never get tired of the beautiful melody. Entrance of the Queen of Sheba was the recessional. Hannah and Robert chose a mix of classical, tangos, rags, waltzes and old jazz standards for their cocktail hour.
