String Trio at the Wequassett Resort

We had a great time playing for Ariel and Nick’s Wequassett Resort wedding. No matter how many times we play on Pleasant Bay, it’s always a treat. As usual, catering chief Kalson Pang, ran a really tight ship. All of his weddings are on time. (Pretty amazing!)

I worked closely with Ariel’s father, Michael, on music selection and I loved the pieces they chose. The prelude had traditional Jewish tunes and some Klezmer. The bridal couple are fans of Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra so “Can’t Help Falling In Love” and “Erev Shel Shoshanim” were the processionals while “Fly Me To the Moon” was the recessional. Cocktail hour was mainly old jazz standards.
