String Trio at Veronique in Brookline, MA

I really enjoyed working with Amanda and John who chose the lovely Veronique for their venue.

We’ve played for many weddings there and think the staff does a super job. Cindy Goodman (cindy@longwoodevents.com) was the coordinator and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our string trio (violin/viola/cello) played for the prelude and ceremony in the Club Room, then moved upstairs to the mezzanine for the cocktail hour. Reverend Jeffery Mello of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church officiated.

The processionals were Trumpet Voluntary for the bridal party and Canon in D for Amanda. John and Amanda chose not to have any music during ceremony as they weren’t having a unity candle lighting. The recessional was the very upbeat Entrance of the Queen of Sheba. Cocktail hour music included light classical, tangos, rags, waltzes and Broadway tunes.
